Optical Illusions quick intro

I thought I'd turn the power point intro thing into this tiny animation just so that I don't forget how to use after effects..

Fiction project final (extract)

So I wanted to put the whole book (40 pages) as a flash page flipping thing, but once I'd gone through all the trouble I realized I couldn't publish it on blogger.. Or if anyone knows how to please let me know!

So this is the cover page, then pages 18 to 29.

(If you haven't followed since the beginning of this project, this is an adaptation of the book Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami)

Oh and I thought maybe I should add the watchdog knife and shadow cut pages since I'd published drafts in earlier posts. (these are pages 6 and 7)

Side task 2: The viewpoints little books

task: pick one passage in the book and make 12 pages books illustrating it through different viewpoints/perspectives.

(little precision: this was done VERY quickly)

In this passage, the narrator is told by a chubby pink woman to go through a hidden passage in the wall of a cabinet that leads him to a huge underground cave area, with "INKlings" being a dangerous threat but warded off by some device. (He mouths the word "sela" as a sort of goodbye/thank you). Once she closes the trap he's in complete darkness. He makes his way down a ladder then upriver and ends up meeting an old man- the professor.

Side task 1: The everything drawing

task: to fit the whole story (still Haruki Murakami book) into an A1 drawing

(the middle (horizontal middle) part has been cropped out because I had to make 4 A3 photocopies instead of 2 A2 ones.)

the A2 originals:

2nd year summer project sample

task: 60 drawings -20 props, 20 spaces, 20 characters- related to the book "Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" by Haruki Murakami (great book)
