I got somewhat side-tracked while doing this author primer project, which is about gathering imagery on: our territory, rules, fears, loves, relationships, hierarchies around us, and primary needs... too many directions I'm getting lost

summer project

this was handed in on the 5th of October but I never uploaded it...
the brief: 25 drawings, 5 hopes (H), 5 expectations (E), 5 requirements (R), 10 general personal information (PI) (name, age, education, religion, career plans..). here goes:
H: to succeed- beat the challenges H: Be at peace with myself

H: Find my place

H: obtain the keys to a wide number of doors (ie: life options)

H: open people's views through illustration (she's cutting away the blinkers (if that's the right word)

E: to be challenged

E: To have fun

E: meet awsome people (who can't pronounce my name)

E: Be amazed

E: grow (intellectually), linked with watercan one below

R: Be taught things + experience etc

R: think more with my hands (yes it's a brainy hand)

R: be around honest people (hypocrit masks/fake smiles thrown away)

R: self-discipline/time-management

R: balanced lifestyle

PI: religion (none)

PI: place of birth (Belgium.. beer + chocotoffs on rain cloud, magritte ref with apple head, obsessive car washing)

PI: Date of birth (1990= year of horse, 18.08= leo horoscope, click for close up, you'll see the numbers)

PI: position in the family (big sister, it's meant to be cookies in the bag)

PI: education (friends and family will recognize themselves, hopefully)

PI: hobbies/interests (cooking, climbing (shoes), laptop(=talking, music, manga reading, movies etc), cherry blossoms (=interest in japanese culture), baking, honey(the bee above the plane), travelling, seeing (eyes floating), painting, the sea (swimming etc)

PI: career plans (not too sure, something with drawing and travelling/international level)

PI: age (19, a symbol for each year, try to figure it out this time)

PI: Natinality (French: question marks because I don't know that much about it, never lived there really, except once but for like 5 months but it doesn't really count, and inside (click to see bigger), it's people striking/protesting)

PI: name- Maëlle (Mael= male version= prince in breton apparently)
